There are now only two sets of rules for entry to the UK. 1) for fully vaccinated travellers and those under 18 years of age and 2) for non-vaccinated travellers. The UK government has decided no further restrictions to everyday life are required to combat the Omicron variant. In fact, the UK government has gone one step further and decided to remove the temporary entry restrictions put in place in November 2021 for fully vaccinated travellers and travellers aged under 18 travellers (who are classed as fully vaccinated by the UK government). The US Government now only requires fully vaccinated travellers to take a lateral flow test 24 hours before arrival into the country, with no quarantine required on arrival. In Canada, from 15th January, fully vaccinated students with study permits will now be allowed to study at any designated learning institution in Canada. This means that, excitingly, there are now very few obstacles stopping fully vaccinated or junior students coming to our schools so we look forward to seeing you and your students very soon. To help you decide which school to send your students to, we have provided you with the latest update and summary of entry requirements into each country. FULLY VACCINATED TRAVELLERS AND UNDER 18s With an expanded list of accepted vaccines and more countries being added to the approved vaccine programme list, fully vaccinated entry to the UK is even more widely available. If you have been fully vaccinated for at least 14 days, , by the relevant public health body in that country, with any combination of the following vaccines in the following countries listed here. Students aged under 18 are classed as fully vaccinated by the UK government so the same rules apply.
You will need to show your vaccination status on arrival which includes · forename and surname(s) · date of birth · vaccine brand and manufacturer · date of vaccination for every dose · country or territory of vaccination and/or certificate issuer You NO LONGER need to take a pre-arrival test or a day 2 PCR test after arrival. You DO NOT need to self-isolate while waiting for your day 2 results either. In other news, should you test positive for COVID-19 whilst in England, self-isolation can be reduced from 10 to 7 days if, on day 6, you are showing no signs of a fever and return a negative lateral flow test result on days 6 and 7. You can read the rules for fully vaccinated travellers below and also find a UK government approved day 2 test supplier below too. NON-VACCINATED TRAVELLERS
If you are travelling from a country/territory
You can read the rules for non-vaccinated travellers below and find a UK government approved PCR test supplier below too.
