The ACT is the leading college admissions test that measures what you learn in high school to determine your academic readiness for college & university.
The ACT Exam is a standardized test that serves as a measurement of aptitude and critical thinking. Colleges and universities in the United States carefully review exam results when admitting students to university. ACT scores are an important factor of consideration. Therefore, performing well on the ACT is a key component to your future.
The ACT exam is comprised of four subject areas: english, mathematics, reading and science.
There is a second version of the ACT as well: the ACT with writing. This variation of the ACT includes the previous four subject tests, in addition to a 40-minute writing test. The ACT with writing is usually preferred by most colleges and therefore more popular.
The ACT includes 215 multiple-choice questions and takes about 3 and a half hours to complete.
